This week, I head to San Diego for a tournament. It is always tricky going away, especially flying because you can’t bring liquids, we don’t normally check any bags, and there isn’t a lot of space to pack anyways. We also go to different grocery stores than what I am used to (Yay Trader Joes!). There are other things to consider, including different eating habits and a different nutritional needs.
When I looked at where we were staying, there aren’t many typical grocery stores around us. Often there is a little strip mall close by, but not in this case. We do have rented cars so we can travel a bit further. It does make it tricky to plan though.

I really like how the Trader Joes website has a section where you can even make recipes with ingredients from there store. There are also filters you can add such as “meatless” or “high protein”.
